The arms warrior is the two-handed burst and control spec, the main pick for PvP and a confident leveling start. Mortal Strike with its healing-reduction effect, Overpower on dodge and the stun combo make arms the terror of arenas and battlegrounds. For maximum raid damage players take fury, but for versatility and PvP arms has no rival.
Mortal Strike cuts incoming healing on the target by 50% — this makes arms a key class against healers in PvP. Keep Overpower ready: it strikes from Battle Stance after the enemy dodges and ignores block.

Arms is an all-rounder leaning to PvP:
- PvP — Mortal Strike (anti-heal), Overpower, weapon stuns, high burst.
- Leveling — a comfortable start with a single two-hander, less gear dependence than fury.
- Raids — a working option, though it trails fury in pure DPS.

Impale raises crit damage, and Mortal Strike is the heart of the whole tree. Some points go into Fury for Flurry and rage generation.
Rotation and play
In PvP: close with Charge, Mortal Strike on cooldown, Overpower after the enemy dodges, weapon stun and finish with Execute. Keep Hamstring on runners.
