For Enhancement (melee DPS) the usual pick is the Orc: Blood Fury (attack-power burst) and Hardiness pair perfectly with the bursty style. For Elemental/Restoration the Troll is strong (Berserking speeds casting and healing) or the Tauren (War Stomp + Endurance give survivability and control, valuable since shamans are often stunned/feared).
