Alliance

On Alliance the best DPS warrior is the Human: Sword and Mace specialization grants +5 weapon skill, effectively adding hit and reducing glancing damage against level-63 bosses. For tanking the Night Elf is strong (Shadowmeld and +1% dodge from Quickness). The Dwarf shines with Stoneform (removes bleed/poison/disease and adds armor) — excellent in PvP.

Horde

On Horde the clear leader is the Orc: Axe Specialization (+5 axe skill — and axes are the warrior's top weapons), Blood Fury (attack-power burst) and Hardiness (−25% stun duration — a lifesaver versus rogues). For tanking the Tauren is great: War Stomp (AoE stun) and +5% base health from Endurance.
