The Paladin is a hybrid, so his macros split into healing, defense and seals/judgements. The most useful are downranked heals and the seal-to-judgement pairing. Heal-on-mouseover needs an addon (Clique/SuperMacro).

To heal an ally on mouseover without swapping targets, install the Clique or Roid Macros addon - stock Vanilla macros cannot do [target=mouseover].

Can I put seal and judgement on one button?
No: both seal and judgement cost a global cooldown, so only the first fires per press. Keep them on two keys and alternate.
How do I heal an ally on mouseover?
Stock 1.12.1 macros cannot. Install Clique, Roid Macros or SuperMacro for mouseover casting.
Why does a paladin downrank heals?
Max-rank Holy Light is mana-hungry; a lower rank of Flash/Holy Light saves mana for small top-ups.
