Wintersaber Trainers Reputation Guide
The Wintersaber Trainers are an Alliance faction in Winterspring. The only goal of this reputation is the rare Winterspring Frostsaber mount, one of the most prestigious and grind-heavy mounts in Vanilla. Reputation is Alliance-only.
How to gain reputation
- Repeatable quests from Rivern Frostwind in Winterspring:
- "Wintersaber Trainers" — collect Winterfall Spirit Beads from Winterfall furbolgs.
- Later — deliver Wintersaber armor and other items gathered in the zone.
- Each turn-in grants a fixed chunk of reputation; the quests repeat with no time gate.
It is a pure grind-quest: reputation comes only from repeatable tasks, with no bulk item turn-ins at a neutral NPC.
◆What to know
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Faction | Alliance only |
| Location | Winterspring |
| Reward | Winterspring Frostsaber (epic mount) |
| Required tier | Exalted |
Reward
- Exalted: Reins of the Winterspring Frostsaber — an epic 100%-speed ground mount. Requires riding skill; prized for its rarity.
The grind is long — budget several evenings. Combine it with farming Timbermaw Hold — both reputations advance in Winterspring, saving travel time.
Priority and tips
Wintersaber Trainers is a reputation for a single trophy: a rare mount. It is a pure long grind, so discipline matters. Tips:
- Do the quests in small daily chunks: a steady pace beats rare marathons and preserves motivation.
- Combine with Timbermaw Hold: both grinds happen in Winterspring, so you waste no travel time.
- Pre-stock the turn-in items (spirit beads, wintersaber armor) so every session is as dense as possible.
- Alliance only: the Horde has no access to this mount via the faction — factor it into your side choice.
