Timbermaw Hold Reputation: Tunnel Access, Farming and Rewards
Timbermaw Hold reputation belongs to the friendly furbolgs who hold the tunnel linking Felwood, Moonglade and Winterspring. It unlocks safe passage through the tunnel, profession recipes and a trinket at Exalted. On WoW x5 it comes quickly, especially while levelling in these zones.

Tunnel access: what reputation you need
In 1.12.1 every character starts at Hostile with the Timbermaw — the tunnel guards attack. Reaching Unfriendly is enough for the furbolgs to stop attacking and the tunnel becomes safe. It is the shortest way from Felwood to Winterspring and Moonglade — see how to get to Winterspring and how to get to Moonglade.
A few dozen Deadwood kills in southern or northern Felwood take you to Unfriendly. You can run the tunnel while Hostile, but expect to fight the guards.
How to raise reputation
- Killing hostile furbolgs. The Deadwood tribe in Felwood and the Winterfall tribe in Winterspring give reputation for every kill.
- Deadwood Headdress Feathers. Drop from Deadwood furbolgs. After the intro quests (Timbermaw Ally from Grazle at Emerald Sanctuary or Deadwood of the North from Nafien at the tunnel entrance) you turn them in by fives — the repeatable Feathers for Grazle and Feathers for Nafien.
- Winterfall Spirit Beads. Drop from Winterfall furbolgs. After Winterfall Activity from Salfa (at the Winterspring exit of the tunnel) they are turned in by fives — the repeatable Beads for Salfa.
- One-time quests. Chains from Grazle, Nafien and Ferli in Felwood, from Salfa and Donova Snowden in Winterspring, plus the 30 Runecloth quest from Meilosh inside Timbermaw Hold (from Friendly).

Recipes are sold by Meilosh in the main chamber of Timbermaw Hold:
- Friendly: Formula: Enchant 2H Weapon - Agility, Pattern: Warbear Harness, Pattern: Warbear Woolies, Recipe: Transmute Earth to Water.
- Honored: Formula: Enchant Weapon - Agility, Pattern: Might of the Timbermaw, Pattern: Wisdom of the Timbermaw, Plans: Heavy Timbermaw Belt.
- Revered: Pattern: Mantle of the Timbermaw, Pattern: Timbermaw Brawlers, Plans: Heavy Timbermaw Boots.
- Exalted: The Root of All Evil from Gorn One Eye — summon and kill the satyr Xandivious to earn the Defender of the Timbermaw trinket.

Tips for x5
- Clear Hostile first with Deadwood kills, then take the quests at the tunnel entrance so you are not running past angry guards.
- Stockpile feathers and beads: they keep, and turn-ins open only after the intro quests.
- Combine with professions: Felwood and Winterspring are rich in herbs and ore.
- If you only need the tunnel, Unfriendly is enough; go further for the recipes and the trinket.
