Bongos is a classic action bar addon for WoW Classic. It replaces the default bars with freely movable, customizable panels. On the WowX5 x5 server it is the base of a comfortable UI: put the buttons you need under your fingers and play more efficiently.
What Bongos does
- Movable bars — drag any panel to a convenient spot on screen.
- Extra panels — up to 10 bars, paging (button set swaps by Shift or class forms).
- Hide empty buttons — a clean UI with no spare slots.
- Size and spacing — button scale, gaps, transparency.
- Bag bar, micro-menu and XP bar — movable and configurable too.
Druids and warriors with forms/stances should enable paging: each form (cat/bear) or stance can carry its own button set — like separate action bars.
Installing Bongos
Addons in WoW Classic are installed manually by copying a folder. For Bongos: 1. Download the addon for the 1.12.1 (Vanilla) client, not Era/Retail. 2. Unzip it. Inside there should be a Bongos folder with a .toc file. 3. Copy the folder into <WoW folder>/Interface/AddOns/. 4. Launch WoW, click "AddOns" at the bottom-left of the character screen. 5. Make sure the addon is listed and checked, then log in.

Don't run two action bar addons at once (Bongos + Bartender + pfUI bars) — they fight over the same buttons. Pick one.
Common problems and fixes
Bars won't move: Type /bongos lock — panels are locked, unlock to drag.
Buttons vanish after a form change: Check paging settings — a per-form set swap may be enabled.
Layout reset: Don't delete the WTF/Account folder — it stores addon settings.
