ClassicCastBars: Setup Guide for WoW Classic x5
ClassicCastBars is a small addon that adds target cast bars to WoW Classic — something missing from the default UI. Essential for anyone who interrupts casts in PvP or tracks boss mechanics in raids.
◆Why You Need ClassicCastBars
The default WoW Classic 1.12.1 UI shows no target cast bar. This means:
- In PvP you don't know when a mage is casting Pyroblast — interrupts (Kick/Counterspell) are guesswork
- In raids it's unclear how close a boss is to finishing a dangerous ability
ClassicCastBars fixes this: a clear bar with the cast name and remaining time appears above your target (and optionally your focus).

PvP Usage
Especially useful for interrupt classes:
- Rogue — Kick exactly at cast end, not early
- Warrior — Pummel (Protection) at the right moment
- Shaman — Earth Shock interrupts the correct cast
- Hunter — see cast timing while kiting
Match the cast bar color scheme to your UI. In pfUI this matters — otherwise bars can overlap.
