Cartographer is a modular add-on that turns Classic's basic map into a powerful navigation tool. Coordinates, personal notes, dungeon maps and a semi-transparent map over the screen make finding your way around Azeroth fast and convenient.

The add-on is built from modules — enable what you need:

Coordinates — player and cursor coordinates
Notes — your own map markers (farm, entrances, meetups)
InstanceMaps / InstanceLoot — dungeon maps and loot
LookNFeel — semi-transparent full map over the screen
Waypoints — a direction line to a chosen point

Installation and setup

1	Download Cartographer for 1.12.1, unpack into `Interface/AddOns/`
2	Enable Cartographer and its modules in the selection menu
3	Open the map with `M` — you'll see coordinates and a module panel
4	Set transparency and enable the notes you want

A clean map without extra modules

Modularity is Cartographer's strength: switch off what you don't use. Heavy modules (loot maps, many notes) can be disabled, leaving only Coordinates and Waypoints. Build a comfortable interface with UI setup.
