Cartographer is a modular add-on that turns Classic's basic map into a powerful navigation tool. Coordinates, personal notes, dungeon maps and a semi-transparent map over the screen make finding your way around Azeroth fast and convenient.
What Cartographer improves
The add-on is built from modules — enable what you need:
- Coordinates — player and cursor coordinates
- Notes — your own map markers (farm, entrances, meetups)
- InstanceMaps / InstanceLoot — dungeon maps and loot
- LookNFeel — semi-transparent full map over the screen

Modularity is Cartographer's strength: switch off what you don't use. Heavy modules (loot maps, many notes) can be disabled, leaving only Coordinates and Waypoints. Build a comfortable interface with UI setup.
In Classic it helps to dictate coordinates as "x, y" — allies can then find the spot fast via their own Cartographer or the built-in map.
