How to Connect to the Server
Step 1: Download the Client
You need the WoW client version 1.12.1 (Vanilla/Classic). If you already have a client of this version, skip to step 2.
Download the client on the downloads page.
Step 2: Set the Realmlist
Find this file in your client folder: `` Data/enUS/realmlist.wtf ` Open it with a text editor, delete the existing line, and add: ` set realmlist wowx5.ru `` Save the file.
Step 3: Register
Create an account on the WowX5 website — it takes 30 seconds. Use the same credentials to log into the game.
Step 4: Launch WoW
Run WoW.exe (not the Launcher). On the login screen select the WowX5 realm, then enter your website username and password.
