How to get it
An alchemist of skill ~230 brews it; the reagent drops from frost elementals and ogres in Eastern Plaguelands. Farming is much faster on x5.
Who needs it
Useful for a frost mage whose damage is entirely frost (Frostbolt, Cone of Cold). Raid DPS usually prefers fire (Elixir of Greater Firepower), but frost brings control and survivability. The universal alternative is Greater Arcane Elixir.
x5 tip: as a battle elixir it freely combines with a guardian elixir and a flask. The slots do not overlap.
