Dungeon Set 2 "Tier 0.5": upgrading your dungeon set
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruDungeon Set 2, also known as Tier 0.5, is the upgraded version of Dungeon Set 1 (Tier 0). Added in patch 1.10, it lets you turn your starter armor into stronger pieces without raiding. On wowx5.ru (x5 rates) it is a fast way to prepare for Molten Core.
How the upgrade works
Tier 0.5 does not drop as a whole set — you upgrade your existing Tier 0 through a long quest chain. For each of the 8 slots you must:
1. Own the matching Tier 0 piece (it is consumed). 2. Gather reagents from level 55-60 dungeon bosses. 3. Defeat special "corrupted" bosses that appear during the quests. 4. Pay gold and receive the Tier 0.5 piece.
Dungeons involved: Scholomance, Stratholme, Blackrock Depths, Upper/Lower Blackrock Spire, Dire Maul and Maraudon. Their keys are covered in the dungeon keys guide.

Is it worth farming on x5
Yes. On an accelerated server, farming Tier 0 and reagents is much faster, so Tier 0.5 is one of the best ways to gear up before raiding. It is stronger than Tier 0 but weaker than Tier 1 and Tier 2 — the ideal step between dungeons and raids. For a farming plan see the dungeon grinding guide.
