Redridge Mountains is a scenic Alliance zone east of Elwynn Forest, designed for characters levels 15–25. The zone is famous for the lakeside town of Lakeshire and the relentless assault of Blackrock Orcs.

Lakeshire

Blackrock Orc Camps
North and east of the zone — numerous Blackrock Orc camps (levels 17–24). This is the primary combat content: kill orcs, destroy their commanders.
Tower of Ilgalar
In the northeast — Tower of Ilgalar, a fortified orc stronghold with elite mobs (level 22–25). Final quest targets are found here.
The Bridge
The iconic long wooden bridge separating Lakeshire from orc territory. It gets attacked mid-quest — a memorable Vanilla moment.

- "Dispatches to Stormwind" — quest chain linking Lakeshire to Stormwind.
- "Evacuation of Farms" — rescue farmers from orc raids.

Tips for the x5 Server
On WowX5, Redridge pairs perfectly with Duskwood. After level 20, head southwest into Duskwood (20–30 quests) while Redridge content starts to thin out.
Optimal leveling route 15–25: 1. Lakeshire quests (15–18) 2. Northern orc camps (18–22) 3. Tower of Ilgalar (22–24, elite — bring a group) 4. Move to Duskwood or Hillsbrad (24–25)

Redridge or Hillsbrad — which is better for levels 20–25? For Alliance, Redridge + Duskwood is more convenient geographically. For Horde, Hillsbrad is the better choice.
Can I get to Shadowfang Keep from Redridge? No — SFK is in Silverpine Forest (Horde territory). You need to travel through Lordaeron.
