Warrior Macros: Working Macros for PvE and PvP
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ru# Warrior Macros: Working Macros for PvE and PvP
The Warrior does almost everything in melee, so his macros revolve around auto-attack, burst cooldowns and stance switching. Note: stock Vanilla cannot do one-button stance dancing - that needs SuperMacro. Below is what works without addons on WowX5 x5.
Damage and auto-attack
Bloodthirst + start auto-attack
/cast Bloodthirst/startattack
Sunder Armor (spam, tank threat)
/cast Sunder Armor/startattack
Mortal Strike + auto-attack
/cast Mortal Strike/startattack
Rage and burst
Bloodrage costs no global cooldown, so you can combine it with another ability in one macro:
Bloodrage + Battle Shout
/cast Bloodrage/cast Battle Shout
Burst: trinket + Death Wish
/script UseInventoryItem(13)/cast Death Wish
Utility
Overpower (after the target dodges)
/stopcasting/cast Overpower
Hamstring (slow, no target swap)
/cast Hamstring
For one-button Charge from Battle Stance you need SuperMacro: /script CastShapeshiftForm(1); CastSpellByName("Charge"). Without the addon, swap stance and press Charge with two presses.

FAQ
Can I stance dance with one button in Vanilla?
Not by default. Switching stance resets the ability bar, so you need the SuperMacro addon with CastShapeshiftForm. Otherwise stance and ability take two presses.
How do I start auto-attack in a warrior macro?
Add /startattack after /cast. The warrior will begin swinging at the target once the ability fires.
Does combining Bloodrage and Battle Shout work?
Yes. Bloodrage has no global cooldown, so the second ability in the same macro still fires.
