How to obtain
Crafted by alchemists; reagents farmed or bought on the auction house. On x5 usage is high — raid leaders often require stacks for Ragnaros, Baron Geddon, and Vaelastrasz.
x5 tip: Drink the potion before the damage phase (e.g., before Ragnaros's Fire Wave), not after — the shield must be up in advance. Mind the shared potion cooldown.
Who needs it and where
The whole raid wants it on fire bosses: Ragnaros, Baron Geddon, Garr (MC), Vaelastrasz and BWL dragons. Combined with fire resistance gear it sharply raises survivability.
How it compares
For other schools: nature protection potion (AQ40) and frost protection potion (Naxxramas).
