Clear order (brief)
1. Pyroguard Emberseer — free him by killing the Blackhand Incarcerators, then kill the fire elemental. Opens the way forward. 2. The Rookery — dragon egg zone; can be cleared for quests and reputation. 3. Solakar Flamewreath (Father Flame) — activate the runes near the Rookery and survive the add waves, then kill Solakar. 4. The Beast — optional caged boss; killing it frees Finkle Einhorn for the skinning chain. 5. Gyth → Warchief Rend Blackhand — the dragon Gyth first, then Rend dismounts and fights. 6. General Drakkisath — the finale in his lair; strip the three-dragon guard and kill the general.
Key and attunement
Entering UBRS requires the Seal of Ascension, an item from a long quest chain starting in LBRS. Killing General Drakkisath is needed for the Blackhand's Command quest (reward: the Blackhand's Breadth trinket) and is part of the Onyxia attunement chain. More in the Upper Blackrock Spire overview.
