Wailing Caverns is a winding level 15-25 dungeon in The Barrens, where the druid Naralex fell into the Emerald Nightmare and his disciples - the Fanglords - turned to corruption. It has eight bosses - below are individual pages with tactics and loot for each.

Route
1. Entrance → Screaming Gully → Lady Anacondra. 2. → Pit of Fangs → Lord Cobrahn (finish him after the cobra shift). 3. → Lord Pythas (interrupt his self-heal). 4. → optional Kresh (shield) and Skum (dagger/cloak) off the route. 5. → Lord Serpentis (loot - the Venomstrike bow). 6. → optional Verdan the Everliving (Living Root wand). 7. → awakening Naralex → Mutanus the Devourer appears, the finale.
The four Fanglords carry pieces of the Embrace of the Viper set (leather for Hunter and Rogue). Bring poison and sleep removal - it speeds the whole run through the maze.
Tips for WoW Classic x5
1. On x5 enter at level 16-18: Wailing Caverns loot lasts past level 25. 2. Pieces of the Embrace of the Viper set drop from the four Fanglords - complete the set. 3. Players re-run for the Venomstrike bow (Serpentis) and Belt of the Fang (Anacondra). 4. The logical next step for the Horde is Deadmines and Blackfathom Deeps.
