The Lunar Festival is a spring event in WoW Classic dedicated to honoring ancestors and the victory over an ancient evil. Players travel across Azeroth, honor the Elders, collect Coins of Ancestry and watch fireworks in the night sky of Moonglade.
When the event runs
The Lunar Festival begins in late January and lasts about two weeks. The heart of the celebration is Nighthaven in Moonglade, a neutral zone for both factions.
Elders and Coins of Ancestry
Elders — the spirits of the ancients — are scattered across Azeroth. Speak to each one to honor it and receive a Coin of Ancestry. Elders hide in capitals, zones and dungeons, turning the event into a world tour.

How to reach Moonglade
Pick up the quest from the festival herald in your capital — it grants a Lunar Festival Invitation that teleports you straight to Nighthaven.
The boss Omen
At night, Omen — an ancient wolf spirit driven mad — sleeps in the lake near Nighthaven. Launch a Festival Firework on the shore and Omen awakens to attack the celebrants.
