Step 1. Collect 40 Splinters of Atiesh
Splinters of Atiesh drop from Naxxramas bosses. You must gather 40 splinters — dozens of full clears. The splinters combine into the Frame of Atiesh via a keeper NPC.
Step 2. Get the Base from Kel'Thuzad
The final boss of Naxxramas, Kel'Thuzad, has a rare chance to drop the Base of Atiesh. Combining the frame and the base gives you an inactive staff.
Step 3. Charge the staff in Karazhan
The inactive staff must be charged in the crypt beneath Karazhan (Deadwind Pass), where an echo of Medivh is summoned. After the ritual the staff becomes Atiesh for your chosen class.
