Naxxramas Attunement: Archmage Angela Dosantos and Argent Dawn Reputation
Naxxramas attunement is the personal access key to Vanilla's final raid, Kel'Thuzad's floating necropolis above the Eastern Plaguelands. It is granted by Archmage Angela Dosantos for Argent Dawn reputation plus a fee that shrinks as your reputation grows. On WoW x5 reputation flows faster, so getting ready for the endgame takes far less time than on a x1 realm.

Who grants the attunement and what you need
The quest The Dread Citadel - Naxxramas is given by Archmage Angela Dosantos at Light's Hope Chapel in the east of the Eastern Plaguelands. Requirements: level 60 and at least Honored with the Argent Dawn. The price depends on your reputation when you turn the quest in:
| Reputation | Items | Gold |
|---|---|---|
| Honored | 5 × Arcane Crystal, 2 × Nexus Crystal, 1 × Righteous Orb | 60 g |
| Revered | 2 × Arcane Crystal, 1 × Nexus Crystal | 30 g |
| Exalted | nothing | free |
It is usually better to pay the fee at Honored or Revered than to wait for Exalted: the reagents are farmed or bought much faster than the last reputation tier is earned. Turning the quest in at Honored or Revered also awards 1000 Argent Dawn reputation.
How to raise Argent Dawn reputation
- Killing undead in the Western and Eastern Plaguelands gives reputation up to a cap; after that only turn-ins and dungeons work.
- Argent Dawn Commission — a trinket that lets undead drop Scourgestones (Minion's, Invader's, Corruptor's). Turn them in to Dawn officers at Light's Hope Chapel and Chillwind Camp.
- Necrotic Runes from the Scourge Invasion are turned in for reputation and Dawn rewards.
- Stratholme and Scholomance — every undead kill inside gives reputation; on x5 this is the fastest route.

Step-by-step attunement
| Step | Action | Where |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Raise Argent Dawn to Honored | Western/Eastern Plaguelands, Stratholme, Scholomance |
| 2 | Gather reagents and gold from the table above | Auction House, farming, disenchanting epics |
| 3 | Accept and complete The Dread Citadel - Naxxramas | Archmage Angela Dosantos, Light's Hope Chapel |
| 4 | Travel to the spire in the middle of Plaguewood | Eastern Plaguelands, around 39, 26 |
| 5 | Step into the runic circle at the centre of the spire | Teleport into the central chamber of Naxxramas |
Getting to the entrance
Naxxramas hangs in the air above Plaguewood in the north-west of the Eastern Plaguelands. You do not enter through a normal instance portal but through a teleport spire with a runic circle in the middle of Plaguewood: step into the circle and, if you are attuned, you land in the central chamber of the necropolis. The full route for both factions is in how to get to Naxxramas.
Tips for the x5 server
- Start the reputation grind early — while your guild progresses through Molten Core, Blackwing Lair and Ahn'Qiraj, your Argent Dawn reputation should already be Honored.
- Combine farming with dungeon runs in Stratholme and Scholomance — reputation, Scourgestones and gear in one go.
- Once attuned, move on to tactics: the Naxxramas raid guide and the boss pages in the raids section.
