As with the warlock, the basic mount is learned earlier while the epic one is earned through a chain with materials and a ritual. On WoW x5 you reach 60 fast, but the quest runs you through Eastern Kingdoms dungeons.
Step 1. Start the chain at your trainer
At level 60 an Alliance paladin takes the epic mount chain from their class trainer. It leads through trials and gathering rare items.
Step 2. Gather materials in dungeons
The chain sends you into high-level dungeons for reagents and specific mob kills, including:
- Stratholme — items and elite mobs;
- Scholomance — reagents;
- consumables and gold for ritual items.
Prepare the list in advance — the chain is long and spread across zones.
Step 3. The summoning ritual
The finale is a ritual in which the paladin summons and tames the Charger. On completion you receive the epic mount at +100% speed.
