Dark Iron Legacy: The Ironfoe Quest Guide

Step 1. Start the Legacy chain

Pick up the Dark Iron Legacy starter quest and gather the first clues about the fate of an ancient Dark Iron dwarven hammer.

◆Step 2. Enter Blackrock Depths

The chain leads into Blackrock Depths. Bring a group: the route to the key points runs through BRD's dangerous halls.

◆Step 3. Claim Ironfoe

At the end you obtain Ironfoe, a mace that procs several instant extra attacks. For a rogue or fury warrior it is a dream starter weapon. See the Ironfoe item page.

◆Good to know

Ironfoe is a legend among Vanilla white weapons: its proc of several instant extra attacks makes the mace fearsome for a rogue or fury warrior. On WoW x5 the path into Blackrock Depths opens early, and a full run still yields plenty of loot, reputation, and recipes. Go as a level 58-60 group: the solo BRD route is long and dangerous. Pair the chain with the dungeon's other quests so one run closes several goals at once.
