Brood of Nozdormu Reputation Guide
The Brood of Nozdormu are bronze dragonflight allies in the war against Ahn'Qiraj. It is a unique reputation: it is gained only inside the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40) by turning in ancient artifacts, and the reward is a ring that upgrades as your reputation rises — one of the best in Vanilla.
How to gain reputation
- Turn in Qiraji scarabs and idols — dropped by trash and bosses in the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.
- Ancient Qiraji Artifacts — rare boss items granting large gains.
- Reputation grows only from these turn-ins; there are no quests outside the raid.
Collect every scarab and idol each raid — it is the only source of points, so never sell them.
Farming specifics
| Item | Source | Gain |
|---|---|---|
| Lesser scarabs | AQ40 trash | small |
| Qiraji idols | AQ40 bosses | medium |
| Ancient artifacts | rare boss drop | large |
Rewards by tier
- Friendly → Revered: a bronze dragonflight signet ring that scales with reputation.
- Exalted: the final ring version — BiS for many classes, plus enchants.
The Brood of Nozdormu ring is upgradable: the higher your reputation, the stronger the same ring's stats. That makes Exalted especially valuable for AQ40 raiders.
Priority and tips
Brood of Nozdormu is the most "raid-bound" reputation: it grows only inside AQ40, so its progress depends directly on how regularly your guild raids. Tips:
- Never sell Qiraji scarabs, idols or ancient artifacts — they are the only source of points.
- Distribute artifacts across the raid wisely: the sooner everyone gets the ring, the stronger the group's overall DPS and survivability.
- Ancient artifacts are priority: they give the largest gain, so don't waste them.
- Aim for Exalted: the final ring version is BiS for many specs and repays the long grind.
