Grand Widow Faerlina is the second boss of the Spider Wing in Naxxramas. The fight revolves around enrage management: when Faerlina enrages, she deals catastrophic damage. The only way to remove her enrage is to sacrifice one of the four Naxxramas Worshippers standing nearby.

Strategy
Core Mechanic — Enrage Management
Four Naxxramas Worshippers stand alongside Faerlina. When she enrages, one worshipper must die immediately to cancel the Enrage buff. With only 4 worshippers, the raid cannot cancel Enrage more than 4 times.
Only 4 worshippers are available! Kill them strictly on Enrage, never before. Running out of worshippers mid-fight means a guaranteed wipe.
Positioning
- Main tank holds Faerlina facing away from the raid
- Off-tank keeps worshippers grouped, ready to switch DPS target
- Raid spreads to minimize Rain of Fire overlap
Sequence
1. 0 sec — MT engages Faerlina, raid DPS begins 2. 60–80 sec — Enrage → kill 1 worshipper immediately (OT peels, DPS switches) 3. After enrage removal — DPS returns to Faerlina 4. Repeat up to 4 times or until Faerlina dies
On x5 rates with BiS gear, Faerlina dies within 3–4 enrage cycles. Assign a single "enrage caller" who announces in voice chat when to switch DPS to the worshippers.
Poison Bolt Volley
Poison hits the entire raid for ~800–1200 damage over time. Paladins use Cleanse, Priests use Abolish Poison. Priority: dispel the tank first — poison combined with Enrage hits = instant death.
Raid Composition
- Composition: 2–3 tanks (MT + OT for worshippers), 7–8 healers, DPS
- Required: 3+ paladins/priests for poison removal
- Recommended: AoE healers for Rain of Fire recovery

Strictly on Enrage only. Assign a raid caller who announces the switch in voice chat every time Faerlina enrages.
What if all 4 worshippers die before Faerlina?
The raid wipes. After the fourth unmitigated enrage she one-shots the tank. Reset and start over.
Can healers out-heal the Enrage?
No — it is a buff on Faerlina, not a debuff on the raid. The only counter is killing a worshipper.
