Key hubs: Astranaar in the center (Alliance — flight, bank, dozens of quests) and Maestra's Post to the west. The Horde starts from Splintertree Post in the east and Zoram'gar Outpost on the coast. The neutral Forest Song in the southeast opens a chain toward Demon Fall Canyon.

Ashenvale has almost no farmable world elites — most 'elites' are inside quest caves (satyrs at Demon Fall Canyon, naga at Bough Shadow). Grab a 2–3 player group for the Forest Song chain; the rest is solo.

Zoram Strand holds the entrance to Blackfathom Deeps, a level 20–30 dungeon. The perfect combo: level on the coast and form your group right there.
Tips for the x5 Server
- On x5 the 18–30 range flies by in an evening or two — grab every Astranaar/outpost quest at once so you don't backtrack.
- The Warsong Lumber Camp is the best money-and-PvP spot: cutters drop cloth and die quickly.
- Don't skip the Forest Song chain — it leads into Demon Fall Canyon for big XP.
- Once you have a group on the coast, run Blackfathom Deeps — it beats open farming at this level.
- Professions: herbalists find plenty of Grave Moss and Kingsblood; miners get tin and silver.
