Durotar Leveling 1–10 — WoW Classic x5 Guide
Durotar is the scorched red homeland of orcs and trolls in eastern Kalimdor, the Horde starting zone at the gates of Orgrimmar. Every orc and troll begins here: the path runs from the Valley of Trials through Sen'jin Village to Razor Hill and on into the Barrens. The 1–10 range clears fast, especially on an x5 server.
Durotar is perfect for the Horde's first levels: short routes between camps, dense quests and a clear exit into the Barrens. Orcs and trolls learn their core abilities here and, by level 10, unlock the road to the wider continent.

Level range and how to get there
The recommended range is level 1–10. Durotar is the orc and troll starting zone, so you begin right in the Valley of Trials. From there the road heads east to Sen'jin Village, then north to Razor Hill and the gates of Orgrimmar. On x5 the first levels fly by in minutes.
Quest hubs and chains
Key hubs: the Valley of Trials (tutorial quests, first abilities), Sen'jin Village in the south-east (troll quests, the Echo Isles chain) and Razor Hill in the centre (orc outpost, flight path, bank, exit to the Barrens). Grab every quest in a batch — objectives sit close together and on the way.

There are no world elites in Durotar — the tougher targets appear in the Echo Isles quests (troll berserkers, naga). Everything is soloable; team up with other new players nearby to speed things up.
◆Nearby dungeons
The nearest dungeon is Ragefire Chasm, right under Orgrimmar, range 13–18. A perfect combo: hit 10–13 in Durotar and the Barrens, then form your first RFC group.
Tips for the x5 server
- On x5 the 1–10 range takes one evening — grab all Valley and Sen'jin quests at once.
- Don't skip profession training and your first pet (hunter) in Razor Hill.
- The Sen'jin Coast is the best early-money spot: makrura and goblins die fast.
- By level 10 visit Orgrimmar for reputation-mount progress and trainer abilities.
- Professions: miners find copper across Durotar, herbalists gather Peacebloom and Silverleaf.

At level 10 head into the Barrens — the Horde's central 10–25 hub with quests from the Crossroads. From there open Thousand Needles, Dustwallow Marsh and Ashenvale.
