Level Range and How to Get There
The recommended range is level 30–40. Alliance reaches it via Refuge Pointe, the Horde via Hammerfall. On the x5 server leveling is faster than classic, so grab hub quests in a batch and don't stretch the zone out.
Quest Hubs and Chains
Hubs: Refuge Pointe in the center (Alliance — flight, bank, quests) and Hammerfall in the east (Horde — orcs, tasks across the highlands). Contested ruins and camps lie between them for farming.

Elites
Boulderfist ogres are reinforced mobs for a 2–3 player group; they give big XP and quest loot. Some Syndicate patrols are reinforced too. In the center of the highlands is the Arathi Basin battleground entrance (PvP 30–39/40–49).
Nearby Dungeons
Arathi has no 5-player dungeon, but it does hold the Arathi Basin battleground entrance — a great source of XP, honor and reputation through PvP. For instances stick to neighboring zones; farm honor right here.
Tips for the x5 Server
- Fight Boulderfist ogres with a group — solo they're elite, but the XP and loot pay for the party.
- The Syndicate at Northfold Manor gives the zone's best money and cloth.
- On x5, mix quests with Arathi Basin runs — honor and XP flow in parallel.
- Boulder'gor trolls are steady 34–38 XP and a shared quest target for both hubs.
- Miners get iron and gold; smiths can gather stock right along the quest path.
Where to Go Next
After 38–40 head to the Hinterlands (40–50), Hillsbrad Foothills or the Badlands (35–45). All border the zone and continue smoothly.
