Darkshore Leveling 10–20 — WoW Classic x5 Guide

Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ru

Darkshore is the misty western coast of Kalimdor, reached by ferry from Teldrassil. It is the Alliance's first mainland zone for 10–20, with the Auberdine hub. Rainy beaches and ancient ruins clear fast on an x5 server.

Darkshore is ideal for 10–20: a long coastal quest chain, compact spots and an exit into Ashenvale. The Alliance fights threshadons, Greymist naga and awakened ancients here, and along the way opens the Blackfathom Deeps dungeon.

Level range and how to get there

The recommended range is level 10–20. The Alliance arrives by ferry from Rut'theran (Teldrassil) into Auberdine, the zone's central hub. On x5 leveling is faster than on classic, so grab the Auberdine quests in a batch and move along the coast.

Quest hubs and chains

The key hub is Auberdine in the centre of the coast (flight path, bank, inn, dozens of quests). Extra nodes: the Grove of the Ancients in the south (furbolg and awakened-ancient chain) and camps along the shore. Quests lead from the northern beaches to the southern ruins.

Where to level

No icons in the table — text only, so cells don't break.

Elites

Notable targets are large threshadons on the coast and naga leaders in the ruins; take them with two or three players or carefully solo on durable classes. Most quests are soloable.

Nearby dungeons

The nearest dungeon is Blackfathom Deeps on the Ashenvale border, range 20–30. It lines up perfectly with the zone exit: level on the coast, then dive in.

Tips for the x5 server

  • On x5 the 10–20 range flies by in a couple of evenings — grab all Auberdine quests at once.
  • The coast near Auberdine is the best early-money and leather spot: threshadons die fast.
  • Don't skip the Grove of the Ancients chain — it gives big experience and leads to Ashenvale.
  • With a group at 20, run Blackfathom Deeps — it beats open-world grinding.
  • Professions: herbalists find Earthroot and Bruiseweed, miners find tin along the cliffs.

Where to go next

At level 20 head east into Ashenvale — a contested 18–30 zone with dense quest hubs. From there open Thousand Needles and the road across southern Kalimdor.

In short

Darkshore is a solid 10–20 Alliance zone: a long coastal quest chain, compact spots and Blackfathom Deeps at the exit. Quest through it and move into Ashenvale.
