Centaur are a savage race of half-human, half-horse beings roaming the dry plains of Kalimdor. Split into feuding clans, they have warred with the tauren over grazing land for centuries and despise all outsiders. On WowX5 x5 the centaur are among the chief foes of central Kalimdor.
Centaur patrol the roads of Desolace mounted and strike from range with lances. Don't ride into their camps alone at a low level — the clans move in large groups.
Who are the centaur
Centaur are tall beings with a humanoid torso and the body of a horse. Legend says they descend from the union of the demigod stag Zaetar, son of Cenarius, and the malevolent earth princess Theradras. From their mother they inherited cruelty, from their father raw strength.
Centaur know neither mercy nor unity. They live in clan-hordes that constantly claw at one another over water and pasture. The only thing that unites them is hatred of settled peoples, above all the tauren.
