◆When the event runs
Children's Week runs in spring and lasts about a week. Dates are on the WowX5 news page.
◆How to start
Find the Orphan Matron:
| Faction | Where |
|---|---|
| Alliance | Orphanage, Stormwind |
| Horde | Orphanage, Orgrimmar |
She hands you an Orphan's Whistle that summons your ward. A chain of tour quests to your faction's landmarks follows.
The Orphan's Whistle only works during the event. Plan the tours ahead — some spots are far from the capital and travel takes time.
◆Tours across Azeroth
The orphan asks to see different corners of the world, from the home city to distant zones. Each completed tour gives a line from the child and moves you toward the final reward.
Event rewards
- Commemorative items tied to the orphan
- A choice of a non-combat pet
- A warm atmosphere and personal progress

◆Significance
Children's Week is a charity event in the lore: despite the war, Azeroth's heroes find time for the orphans left behind by the Second and Third Wars. It is one of the most human events in the game.
Tips for x5 realms
The event needs no fighting — only travel. Take a planned route and finish every tour in one or two trips. The non-combat pet stays with you forever as a memento.
