Alleria Windrunner: the legendary ranger

Eldest of the sisters
Alleria is the eldest of the three Windrunner sisters. Her younger sisters are Sylvanas, the future Banshee Queen, and Vereesa. From a young age Alleria led the rangers who guarded the borders of the elven kingdom of Quel'Thalas.
Vengeance for Quel'Thalas
During the Second War the Horde broke into the forests of Quel'Thalas and put them to the torch. Alleria swore eternal vengeance on the orcs and hunted their warbands with fury, becoming a terror of the Horde on every front.
Hero of the Alliance
Alleria fought shoulder to shoulder with Lothar, Turalyon and Khadgar. Her ranger corps decided many battles with volleys loosed from the forest shadows.
Expedition to Draenor
After the war, Alleria joined the Expedition beyond the Dark Portal and went to Draenor with Turalyon, whom she came to love. Their fate long remained one of Azeroth's greatest mysteries.
The Windrunner sisters
The fates of the three Windrunner sisters diverged tragically: while Alleria left for Draenor, Sylvanas fell to Arthas' Frostmourne and became the Banshee Queen. For the hunter player the Windrunner line is the gold standard of ranger skill, and their story links the high elf era to the Scourge's fate in WoW Classic.
