Anduin Lothar: the Lion of Azeroth and leader of the Alliance

Last of the Arathi
Lothar was Stormwind's champion knight and a friend of Medivh. In his veins ran the blood of the ancient Arathi kings — rulers who once united the human tribes. That blood made him a born leader in the hour of greatest need.
The fall of Stormwind
When the orcish Horde poured through the Dark Portal in the First War, Stormwind fell. Lothar led the survivors north by sea to Lordaeron, vowing to reclaim their homeland.
Leader of the Alliance
In Lordaeron, Lothar united the kingdoms of humans, dwarves and high elves into the Alliance of Lordaeron and led its armies in the Second War. Beside him fought Turalyon, Khadgar and the rangers of Quel'Thalas.
Death of the Lion
In the decisive campaign Lothar fell at Blackrock Mountain to the Horde warchief Orgrim Doomhammer. His death did not break the Alliance: Turalyon raised the blood-soaked blade and led the army to victory.
Legacy of the Lion
The union of kingdoms Lothar forged outlived his death and became the Alliance you know in WoW Classic. The human capital Stormwind was rebuilt in memory of his struggle. Lothar proved that unity matters more than any single crown — a lesson that holds true for every raid and battleground.

On WowX5 x5 the Lion of Azeroth's legacy lives in every warrior of the Alliance. Level a human warrior or paladin, reach Upper Blackrock Spire and fight where the legendary Lothar fell. His path is continued by the other Warcraft legends.
