The power of the living world
Nature is the breath of Azeroth itself. Its heart is the Emerald Dream, a green mirror of the world, and its guardian is the demigod Cenarius, son of the Ancients. Through nature magic, mortals speak with the spirits of earth, water and air, and with life itself. This school is twofold: the same power that grows forests and mends wounds can strike lightning from a clear sky or pour deadly venom into a foe's blood. Nature is neither good nor evil — it answers those who have earned its trust.
Wielders of nature magic
The chief masters of the school are druids and shamans. Druids grow and heal, shift into beasts and draw power from the Emerald Dream. Shamans command lightning and the elements through Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning. Poison damage also belongs to the nature school — for example, that of hunters and rogues.
Nature in Vanilla raids
The nature threat waits in Ahn'Qiraj: Princess Huhuran showers the raid with poison shots of the nature school. Against her you need nature-resistant gear that reduces poison and nature damage. That makes nature resistance an important part of preparing for the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.
