Where to find the dragons
Each dragon is tied to one of the four emerald dragon portals:

These are world bosses: no instance needed, but the zones are open and PvP-risky. Guilds compete for them — tracking respawn timers matters.
Shared mechanics
- Sleep / Nightmare — the dragon sleeps random players and applies a nightmare effect, removing character control for several seconds.
- Noxious Breath — a poison cone; the tank keeps the dragon facing away from the raid.
- Tail Sweep — a tail hit: don't stand behind the dragon.
- Mark of Nature — a periodic nature mark over an area.
- Seeping Fog / spore clouds — spawns adds and damage clouds around the boss.

Fight tactics
1. Tank keeps the dragon side-on / facing away — Noxious Breath and Tail Sweep must not hit the group. 2. Dispels ready — Sleep and Nightmare disable players; priests/druids remove them fast. 3. Account for the unique aura — e.g. kill Taerar's Shades quickly, or control Emeriss's growing curse. 4. Minimize chaos — open world, possible PvP; keep the raid grouped. 5. Bring a full 40 — an undermanned dragon heals on a wipe.

They drop early raid-level epics and crafting materials (Nightmare Engulfed Object). Open-world availability makes them a great first epic target for a guild.
