The Titans: Shapers and Creators of Azeroth
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruThe titans are colossal beings of living metal and stone who roam the universe and bring young worlds to order. Azeroth is one of their works. Understanding the titans explains the origin of the dwarves, the gnomes and the imprisonment of the Old Gods.
The Pantheon and its mission
The titans are ruled by the Pantheon, led by Aman'Thul. Their purpose is to find disordered worlds and give them form: raising continents, kindling the elements, imposing order where chaos reigned. One of the noblest titans was Sargeras — before he fell.
War with the Old Gods
Arriving on Azeroth, the titans found a planet enslaved by the Old Gods. War broke out. Victorious, they could not slay the gods without destroying the world — so they imprisoned them in underground vaults and set wardens to watch.

Servants and the curse of flesh
The titans made servants of stone and metal: the earthen (ancestors of the dwarves) and the mechagnomes (ancestors of the gnomes). But the corruption of the Old Gods inflicted upon them the curse of flesh — stone became flesh, and the servants turned mortal.
The dwarves study the curse of flesh in Uldaman through the Discs of Knowledge — the Explorers' League has devoted whole expeditions to it.
Legacy in Vanilla
The titans long ago left Azeroth, but their traces are everywhere: ancient vaults, runes, sleeping earthen and machinery. In dungeons such as Uldaman the player encounters relics of the Pantheon. Even the dragonflights are a titan gift that became both a blessing and a tragedy.
