Mistress of stone
Like the other Lords, Therazane ruled the element of earth at the command of the Old Gods and led her legions against the Titans. After her defeat in the Elemental Sundering she was banished to the Elemental Plane, into boundless stone depths where she rules to this day.
A mother's fury
Therazane is known for a stern but deeply maternal temper. She guards her elemental children more fiercely than any other Lord, and woe to those who harm her kin. This trait makes the Stonemother one of the most dangerous primal forces when her offspring are threatened.
Princess Theradras
The most famous member of her line in WoW Classic is Therazane's daughter, Princess Theradras. Her spirit is bound in the depths of Maraudon, an ancient centaur dungeon in the Desolace. There Vanilla heroes first meet the legacy of the Stonemother face to face — a mighty earthen boss surrounded by elemental guardians.
Trace in Vanilla
Earth elementals, stone guardians and giants across Azeroth — from the Badlands to the depths of Maraudon — are Therazane's host. Even the Dark Iron dwarves, who disturb the roots of Blackrock Mountain, tread upon her domain.
Bond with the other Lords
Together with Neptulon, Al'Akir and Ragnaros, Therazane is one of the four primal Elemental Lords. Earth has long warred with fire, and the Stonemother bears no love for the Firelord, whose lava melts her stone.
