Elemental Lords: the Four Rulers of the Elements
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruThe Elemental Lords are the four greatest elementals of Azeroth, each embodying one of the primal forces of the world — fire, water, earth and air. Long before the coming of the Titans they were all-powerful rulers of elemental armies and faithful servants of the Old Gods.
Servants of the Old Gods
When young Azeroth was wild and chaotic, the world was ruled by the Old Gods — monstrous creatures of the Void. The Elemental Lords answered to them, and the elements themselves tore the planet apart in endless war. Fire fought water, earth fought air, and in that chaos there was no room for life.
The Sundering and the Titans
When the Titans arrived to order Azeroth, the elements rose against them. In a colossal battle known as the Elemental Sundering the Lords led their legions against the Pantheon — and lost. The Titans cast the Old Gods into underground prisons and banished their elemental servants to the Elemental Plane, sealed away from the living world.
The Four Rulers
Each Lord commands its element and its own host of elementals. Below are their roles and their trace in the Vanilla era.

Ragnaros in Vanilla
The only Lord that Classic heroes face in battle is Ragnaros the Firelord. He was summoned by the Dark Iron dwarves beneath Blackrock Mountain, who hoped for an ally but found only enslavement instead. Ragnaros slumbers in the Molten Core — a shard of the Firelands that burst into our world.
