Who is Eitrigg
Eitrigg is an orc of the old generation, a warrior who remembered the days before the Horde was enslaved by the Burning Legion's corruption. He kept in his heart the true honor of the orcs — respect for a worthy foe, loyalty to the clan, and contempt for a dishonorable kill.
During the Second War, in battle, Eitrigg spared the life of a young human knight — Tirion Fordring. That act broke the familiar cycle of hatred between the races.
A debt of honor with Tirion Fordring
Years later fate brought the orc and the paladin together again. When Eitrigg fell captive to humans and faced execution, Tirion Fordring remembered the old debt and spoke up for the orc, refusing to condemn the one who had once spared his life.
For defending an "enemy" Tirion was cast out of the Order of the Silver Hand and stripped of all his titles. So one orc's honor cost the paladin his former life — yet gave both a new meaning. This story is the heart of the quest chain in the Plaguelands.

Freed, Eitrigg joined Thrall's new Horde — the Horde that had returned to the honor and freedom he had so longed for. In Orgrimmar he serves the Warchief as a trusted advisor and mentor, a living bridge between the old and new generations of orcs.
