Earth elementals are the unbreakable embodiment of the element of earth, the host of Therazane the Stonemother and offspring of the deep bedrock of the Elemental Plane. Among the elementals they are the toughest and heaviest: slow but near-invulnerable, they crush foes with fists of stone. For a WoW Classic player they are a stubborn foe and a source of valuable mineral reagents.
An earth elemental cannot be moved or frightened — it strikes slowly but crushingly. Poison and bleeds serve well against them: things that ignore stone armor rather than trying to pierce it.
Who earth elementals are
An earth elemental is living rock: granite, basalt and ore gathered by the will of the element into the semblance of a body. It knows no fatigue and feels almost no pain; its strength lies in its unbreakability and weight. A blow from such a being shatters armor, while it endures strikes that would fell a giant.
