Wolf hunters
The Thunderlords lived in Gorgrond and were famed for hunting the giant wolves of Draenor. This clan was the first to ride wolves as war mounts — a tradition that later made orc cavalry the terror of the battlefield. Their chieftain Fenris bore the name Wolfbrother for his special bond with the beasts.
Rivalry with the Frostwolves
The Thunderlords long competed with the Frostwolf clan: both lived in cold mountains and hunted the same wolves. This rivalry over territory and prey ran for generations.
Part of the Horde
Like most clans, the Thunderlords accepted demonic corruption and passed through the Dark Portal into Azeroth, fighting in the ranks of the Old Horde. Their legacy — orc wolf riders — became an inseparable part of the Horde's military image.
