Troggs are primitive, half-stone beings that infest the underground of the Eastern Kingdoms. They are a failed experiment of the titans: an attempt to create intelligent life from stone that ended in degeneration. On WowX5 x5 troggs are signature foes of the dwarven lands.
Troggs attack in mobs and love cave ambushes. In Gnomeregan and Uldaman they are especially numerous — keep your group together.
Who are the troggs
When the titans shaped Azeroth, they created the earthen from stone — the ancestors of the future dwarves and gnomes. Troggs are a botched byproduct of that same process: crude, dull and vicious creatures without the spark of intellect their "kin" received.
For long ages the troggs slept, sealed within ancient titanic complexes. Excavations in Uldaman and the catastrophe in Gnomeregan awoke them — and hordes of troggs poured out to fall upon the dwarves and gnomes.
