How to Get to Zul'Farrak
Zul'Farrak is a level 44-54 dungeon: the ruined city of the Sandfury sand trolls in the northwest of Tanaris. It is famous for its epic battle on the pyramid steps, the summoning of the hydra Gahz'rilla through an idol, and the quest chain involving Sergeant Bly's band. Players come here for experience, reputation and rare weapons. First you need to reach Tanaris.
◆Where Zul'Farrak is
The ruined city lies in the northwest of Tanaris, a huge desert zone in the south of Kalimdor. The entrance is visible from afar by its stepped pyramids and troll guards.
◆How to reach Tanaris
The fastest option for both factions is the neutral Gadgetzan flight path in central Tanaris. It is open to Alliance and Horde alike.
- Alliance: open Gadgetzan by flying in from Theramore/Thousand Needles, or travel on foot from the north.
- Horde: also fly to Gadgetzan; on foot you enter Tanaris from Thousand Needles through the Shimmering Flats pass.
From Gadgetzan head northwest along the coast — the road leads straight to the Zul'Farrak steps.

On the pyramid steps a whole mob of trolls rushes you at once — assign roles in advance: the tank holds the front, the healer spends mana freely, the DPS focus the marked target. On x5 the waves come faster due to quicker respawns, so don't overextend the pull.
