The Deadmines is an iconic Alliance dungeon for levels 17-26. The entrance is not obvious: it hides in an abandoned town and runs through a mine. Here is the route and where to find the door.

Where the Deadmines is

The dungeon sits in the town of Moonbrook in southwestern Westfall. The instance itself is deep in an old mine: enter a house on the edge of Moonbrook, go down and follow the tunnel to the large gate.

How to get there

Alliance:

  1. Reach Westfall from Stormwind (west through Elwynn Forest).
  2. Head southwest to ruined Moonbrook — the area is often patrolled by the Defias Brotherhood.
  3. Enter the house, drop into the mine and follow the tunnel to the instance gate.

Horde: sail from Booty Bay to Duskwood, then north into Westfall. The path is long and dangerous.

What is inside

  • Bosses: Rhahk'Zor, Sneed, Mr. Smite, Captain Greenskin, Edwin VanCleef, Cookie.
  • The finale takes place on the deck of the Juggernaut ship the Brotherhood is building.
  • Great level 20-26 loot and solid reputation; on x5 the mines clear very fast.

Совет

Many players get lost in Moonbrook — the entrance is not an open pit but is inside a house on the southwestern edge. Look for the building with stairs going down; from there the tunnel leads to the instance gate.
