How to Reach Cenarion Hold in Silithus in WoW 1.12.1
How to get to Cenarion Hold is a question every player faces near level 55, before Cenarion Circle reputation and the Ahn'Qiraj raids. Cenarion Hold is a neutral druid camp in Silithus, open to both the Alliance and the Horde. The first trip there is always on foot, but afterwards you can fly in within a couple of minutes. All the routes for the WoW x5 server (Vanilla 1.12.1) are below.

◆Where Cenarion Hold Is
The camp stands in northern Silithus, a desert zone in the south-western corner of Kalimdor, close to the exit from Un'Goro Crater. It is a Cenarion Circle fortress on a rocky hill with a watchtower, surrounded by sand and silithid hives. The recommended level for Silithus is 55 to 60. The camp got its current look in patch 1.8, when Silithus was reworked and the hold received an inn and flight masters for both factions.

◆How to Reach Cenarion Hold as Alliance
- Get to Gadgetzan in Tanaris. From the Eastern Kingdoms, take the ship from Menethil Harbor to Theramore, then a gryphon if the Tanaris flight path is known. Details are in how to get to Tanaris.
- Head west from Gadgetzan to the edge of Tanaris, where the road descends into Un'Goro Crater.
- Cross the crater to its north-western corner. The crater is full of aggressive dinosaurs and elite mobs, so stick to the edges and do not linger.
- Climb the switchback path up the slope; it leads into northern Silithus.
- Walk to the hold and discover the flight path at the hippogryph master, Cloud Skydancer, right away.
Once discovered, hippogryphs link the hold to Gadgetzan and to Feathermoon Stronghold in Feralas.
◆How to Reach Cenarion Hold as Horde
- Get to Gadgetzan. If the Tanaris flight path is known, fly from Orgrimmar or Thunder Bluff. If not, walk south from the Barrens through Thousand Needles.
- From Gadgetzan head west to the way down into Un'Goro Crater.
- Cross the crater to the north-western corner and climb the path into Silithus.
- Discover the flight path at the wind rider master, Runk Windtamer, in Cenarion Hold.
Wind riders link the hold to Gadgetzan and to Camp Mojache in Feralas. A full walk-through with landmarks is in how to get to Silithus.
The first trip is always on foot; the flight path cannot be discovered in advance. Pick up Un'Goro quests on the way and discover the Gadgetzan flight path if you have not yet: the second trip will take a couple of minutes.

Where the Entrance Is and How Not to Get Lost
- There is only one land entrance to Silithus: the path from the north-western corner of Un'Goro Crater. Silithus is not connected to Feralas or Tanaris by road.
- Cenarion Hold is the first large camp after you climb out of the crater. Look for the watchtower on the hill.
- The camp is neutral: the inn, vendors, mailbox and stables serve both factions. But Silithus is always busy with enemy players, especially during the Silithyst PvP event.
- The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj are in the south of the zone, beyond the Scarab Wall. The road to the raids is described in how to get to Ahn'Qiraj.

◆Hearthstone and Fast Travel
If you spend a week on Silithus quests or raid Ahn'Qiraj, bind your hearthstone with the hold's innkeeper. Druids can cross the sands faster in travel form.
◆Why Go to Cenarion Hold
The hold is where quests against the silithids and the Twilight's Hammer cult are turned in; the route is in the Silithus leveling guide. It is the centre of Cenarion Circle reputation: the camp quartermaster sells the reputation rewards. The road to the Ahn'Qiraj raids also starts here. If you are just approaching the zone, do the Un'Goro leveling guide first. Ships and zeppelins are collected in the travel guide, and the hippogryph and wind rider routes in the flight paths guide.
