Hamuul Runetotem is the first druid among the tauren. When Cairne's people befriended the night elves, it was Hamuul who took up the ancient teaching of druidism and brought it to the tauren, restoring his people's lost bond with the Earth Mother.
Wise and even-tempered, Hamuul is a spiritual mentor, an elder, and the closest advisor of High Chieftain Cairne Bloodhoof.
Hamuul and the Cenarion Circle
Hamuul is one of the senior members of the Cenarion Circle, the druidic union that binds night elves and tauren across faction lines. He often visits Moonglade — the sacred vale of the druids — and represents the tauren in the Circle's affairs.
