Harpies are an exclusively female people: winged humanoids with birdlike taloned feet, sharp claws on their hands and feathers instead of hair. They build no true settlements, preferring roosts on cliffs and in caves.
Harpies are famed for their spiteful nature, thievery and cruelty. They attack any and all — travelers, caravans, centaur and tauren — carrying off shiny loot to their nests. Sentient but wild, they bow to no authority but the strongest matriarchs.
