Who are the quilboar
Quilboar are stocky boar-like beings with tusks, hooves and stiff quills jutting from their backs and shoulders. They are wild, territorial and deeply religious, worshipping the spirits of nature and their divine forebear.
Quilboar build primitive but fortified settlements of thorny thickets and bones. They accept no outsiders and are equally hostile to the tauren, the centaur and any who invade their lands.
Children of Agamaggan
Legend says the quilboar were born from the blood and quills of the great boar demigod Agamaggan, who fell in the War of the Ancients defending Azeroth from the Burning Legion. Where his blood was spilled, huge thorny thickets grew, and from them came the quilboar people.
This is why quills are sacred to the quilboar, and their most revered places are the thorn dens named for their forebear. Their shamans draw power from Agamaggan's spirit and guard his legacy.
