The Order of the Silver Hand is Azeroth's first paladin order, forged in the fires of the Second War. Birth of the Order
When the Horde first fell upon humanity, ordinary warriors and priests could not stand alone. Archbishop Alonsus Faol proposed joining two gifts — the sword and the prayer. Thus arose the Knights of the Silver Hand: holy warriors whose faith became strength on the battlefield. The first and greatest of them was Uther the Lightbringer.
