Rexxar: the lone defender of the Horde
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruRexxar is a half-orc, half-ogre of the mok'nathal, a wandering beastmaster and Champion of Durotar. He prefers the company of beasts to noisy cities, but in the hour of need it was he who rose to defend the young Horde. Terse and stern, he speaks more easily with beasts than with people, yet his loyalty to the Horde knows no bounds.
Blood of the mok'nathal
Rexxar comes from the mok'nathal — a rare line of half-orcs, half-ogres. Rejected by both humans and most orcs, he found his place among the beasts and the wild lands, becoming a peerless hunter.
Misha and the beastmaster
Rexxar's faithful companion is the bear Misha, with whom he shares battle and wandering. As a beastmaster he calls wild animals to his aid and is bound to nature more strongly than many hunters.
The founding of Orgrimmar
When Thrall led the Horde into Durotar, Rexxar became his envoy and his sword. He exposed conspiracies, crushed mercenaries and helped lay the foundations of the capital — Orgrimmar.
Champion of Durotar
For his deeds Rexxar received the title of Champion of Durotar. He refused honors and returned to the wilds, but is always ready to answer the call if the Horde is in danger.
Rexxar in Vanilla
In WoW Classic Rexxar can be found in the wild reaches of Kalimdor, far from the cities — for example in Desolace. He embodies the spirit of the free wanderer and reminds us that the Horde's strength lies not only in the walls of Orgrimmar, but in its lone heroes too. For players he is a symbol that a hero need not live in a city to serve his people.
