Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets: Every Turn-in and Prize in 1.12.1
Darkmoon Faire tickets — the Darkmoon Faire Prize Ticket in the game — are the internal currency of Silas Darkmoon's travelling carnival. You earn them by turning in crafted goods and hunting trophies, and you spend them on prizes ranging from a 14-slot bag to level 60 necklaces. On the WoW x5 server materials pile up quickly, so preparing a stack of turn-ins for every Faire visit is easy.

◆What tickets are and how they work
The ticket binds when picked up and stacks to 200. It cannot be sold or mailed, so collect tickets on the character who will claim the reward. Your first 5 tickets are free: Faire criers hand out a Free Ticket Voucher that you redeem with the prize master.
Four Faire workers accept turn-ins, each with a five-tier line of quests. Tiers one to four are repeatable: every turn-in also grants 100 reputation with the Darkmoon Faire, but only until your reputation passes the tier's threshold (roughly 500–600, 1100, 1700 and 2100–2500 points into Neutral) — after that the tier closes. The top tier, available from level 40, is a one-time turn-in worth 100 reputation that unlocks a repeatable «More…» version with no reputation and no limit on how often you hand it in.
◆How to earn tickets: step by step
- Find out where the Faire is: in 1.12.1 it is either in Elwynn Forest near Goldshire or in Mulgore below Thunder Bluff — see the guide how to get to the Darkmoon Faire.
- Prepare the items in advance: craft them with your profession or buy them on the auction house.
- Hand the items to the right worker and collect your tickets.
- If your character is level 40 or higher, repeat the top tier — it pays 20 tickets per turn-in.
- Spend the tickets with Gelvas Grimegate, the prize redeemer.

Profession tips
- Engineering gives the cheapest top-tier tickets: the Thorium Widget takes 3 thorium bars and 1 runecloth, and 6 of them pay 20 tickets — details in the engineering section.
- Leatherworking: the Rugged Armor Kit is made from 5 rugged leather, which is easy to stockpile by skinning on x5 — see leatherworking.
- Blacksmithing: the Dense Grinding Stone is a simple recipe made from 4 dense stone — see blacksmithing.
- Without a crafting profession, the best turn-ins are bat eyes and scorpid blood, which pile up on their own while you level and farm.
- 1200 tickets equals 60 top-tier turn-ins. Start saving early and do not spend tickets on small prizes if the necklace is your goal.
- While you are at the Faire, turn in any finished decks — read about Darkmoon Cards.

FAQ
?How do I get Darkmoon Faire tickets?
Turn in blacksmithing, leatherworking or engineering goods, or hunting trophies such as paws, pelts, tails, plumes, bat eyes and scorpid blood, to the Faire workers. One turn-in pays from 1 to 20 tickets.
?Where do I spend the tickets?
At Gelvas Grimegate, the Darkmoon Faire prize redeemer. He hands out the Darkmoon Flower, prize bags, the joke mutton maces, the 14-slot Darkmoon Storage Box and, for 1200 tickets, the Amulet or Orb of the Darkmoon.
?Why did a Faire turn-in disappear?
The lower turn-in tiers close as your reputation with the Darkmoon Faire grows. The top tier for level 40 and higher characters is repeatable without limit, so that is where most tickets come from.
?Can I trade tickets to another character?
No. The Darkmoon Faire Prize Ticket binds when picked up and cannot be sold or mailed. The turn-in items themselves, however, can be bought on the auction house or mailed.
